Certified Transplant Pharmacist (CTXP) course is a program that prepares pharmacists
to specialize in the care of patients who are donors, candidates, or recipients of
solid organ transplants. To become a CTXP, a pharmacist must meet certain eligibility
requirements and pass a certification exam administered by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS).
A CTXP course may cover topics such as pharmacotherapy, immunology, infectious diseases,
organ allocation, and transplant outcomes.
