About Course

A Certified Pharmacy Executive Leader (CPEL) course is a program that prepares pharmacists for executive leadership roles in healthcare organizations. The course aims to provide national recognition of pharmacy leaders who have achieved validated competencies and a commitment to excellence in pharmacy leadership.

Eligibilities

To be eligible for a CPEL course, you need to meet the following criteria: Be at least 18 years old. Have a valid and unrestricted pharmacist license. Graduate from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent. Complete an ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency or equivalent. Have at least 5 years of progressive and sustained leadership experience in a health care organization. Be a current ASHP member. Provide two references and documentation of volunteerism and CPEL competencies.
