Problem

A New management team and a complicated business model with an expensive operating structure. Overstaffed in some areas and understaffed in others, the company was also not sharing resources across their structure, leading to more wastage.

Competition was also an added stressor, in addition to the performance issues in their internal system.

A complete overhaul of the company’s way of working was the need of the hour.

Solution

A robust process was devised to help achieve their goals. With a series of Organization design workshops for the management team, spanned over several months. The workshops gave the company and its senior management an opportunity to look at their business strategy with fresh eyes. They became more adept at finding the missing links in the chain that needed to be fixed.

Reinvention of processes both on the supply chain front was deemed a necessity.

The Solution

The Supply Chain was suffering from a bloated and dysfunctional team. One that was adding less and less value to the business over the course of the years. The first thing that had to be done was a shift from a transactional focused group, to one that was focused on adding real value.

A Development program was devised for the company to transform the way they think about the business. To drive and sustain change across the business, a redesign of the company’s sales and operational functions was also done.

Result

The company was back on its two feet after integrating the organizational redesign concepts into the company’s work ethic. Even so, the company kept upgrading to support continuous improvement. New organizational structures were implemented, with a new management and executive system set in place.
